My name is Chichi, founder and editor of http://www.mylovelybigfeetblog.com/- fashion shoe blog for women with large feet. I’m also happy that a forum called Pretty Big Shoes now exist where women with large size feet can finally air their opinions on issues relating to shoes. And hopefully caused major high street stores to finally take note.

I wear UK Size 12 and I have a first experience on the problems one is faced with trying to find fashionable shoes, though it’s not as bad now compared to few years back.

This fashion shoe blog redefines the the idea that beautiful shoes goes beyond UK Size 8.

First off congratulations on the new site!! Its pretty and extremely resourceful so well done!

I would like to introduce myself. My name is Charlene. I live in Tullamore, Co Offaly Ireland and I work for Cinderella Shoes as IT Manager. I deal directly with all of our customers and have a deep understanding of the difficulties faced by those blessed with a longer foot! Longer feet runs in my family and of course Gina, creator of Cinderella Shoes, has size 9 feet hence the reason she started Cinderella Shoes.

Carol runs our store in Dublin.

I love forums so its great to have a new innovative site like this up and running.

Congratulations on making this happen. We have been a fan of our old blog for years.

I am the owner of www.barefoottess.com in the United States. I just cant tell you how many customers
have written in to us over the years and found out about our large size shoe store from your threads in the past.
SO I know this will be a wonderful improvement and we plan to refer our customers here so they
can talk and meet with other fans of large size shoes.

I’ll start the ball rolling.

My name’s Janine and I’m from Dublin, Ireland.
I’ve a wide size 9 UK foot, which makes it difficult to find shoes here. The width can be just as problematic as the length - I think manufacturers assume those with larger feet, still have graceful Cinderella like feet rather than shovels!

I did a post on my blog over 4 years ago now about finding lots of shoes in my size on Chiltern Street in London: http://www.janinedalton.com/blog/archives/2004/ladies-shoes-in-large-sizes-in-london/.
It really struck a chord, and I was amazed to find so many other women in the same boat.

500 comments later, I decided it was high time to start this community website for all women with big feet. I hope that we can all share our experiences here, and get help to find lots of beautiful shoes!
