UK store Magnus Shoes has always been a small family run business, providing quality large size footwear for over 50 years.

Simon Drinkwater has owned Magnus since 2014. He’s passionate about providing a great range of women's shoes for size 8+ UK, friendly customer service & giving customers multiple ways to shop.

Magnus stock a wide mix of brands up to size 12 uk. They also do some slippers and flat slider sandals in size 13 uk.

Owner Simon is always on the search for new brands to add to the line up. New for 2026 are German comfort brand Waldlaufer and Archies flip flops & slides, with Plakton cork sandals coming soon. 2025 saw fashionable brand Sorel and French brand Palladium boots added.

"Our big 4 brands are Gabor, Josef Seibel, Remonte and Skechers - beloved by many of our customers", explains manager Kelly. "We also have our own exclusive Magnus brand, handmade in Spain available in sizes 8-12 uk".

Other brands stocked include Sioux, Hogl, Babouche, Bioeco and Da Bella.

Magnus include rotating 360 degree images and sole shots for all their shoes. Simply click and drag to view them from every angle, so you can see exactly what you’re getting. It's super helpful - I wish more sites did this!

Shop In Person in Northampton

You just can’t beat trying shoes on! You're very welcome to visit the Magnus showroom, in the beautiful small village of Harpole in Northamptonshire.

As of October 2025, they're open 5 days a week from 10am-4pm with no appointment necessary. But before you visit, do check their contact page for current opening hours in case anything's changed since.

"If you are looking for specific styles please contact us prior to your visit and we will be happy to reserve items", advises Kelly. "We are 2 minutes from junction 16 of the M1 motorway and 15 minutes taxi ride from Northampton train station. With numerous pubs and a Hotel Chocolat shop and café close by you can make a day of it!".
