Nothing has changed for years

I have looked at the site on and off for years and there is usually one choice in my size 11 Wide currently is the high heeled mule

Editor reply: I understand your frustration here. Poppy Barley run a special "made to order" event a few times a year, where you can order styles in wide width. If you contact them, they may be able to share more info about this.
A couple of similar style brands that do offer wide widths are Margaux and Ally. Both ship to Canada with taxes included. You could also look at Adelante who make similar shoes & boots to order, catering for all sizes and widths. Finally you'll find more stores in Canada with wide size 11 shoes here.
