Brands include Django & Juliette, Frankie4, Hush Puppies and Ziera. $10 flat rate shipping within Australia. International shipping is possible but expensive.

Large shoe specialists. Everything in-store

The best part about Rosenbergs is the in-store storefront. Being trans, I needed to figure out my women's size & didn't want to risk shipping things without trying things on in-store. Going into their instore shop on Chapel Street was easy. The staff were friendly but didn't hover, and gave me hours the first time helping measure my foot & find my size.

They stock a number of brands with larger sizes & stock said large sizes by default. All shoes displayed are around size 12-13 on the shelf, so you really do get a good feel for how they look from the first time you look at them. Price is in-line with what other stores charge. Their online store is pretty bad to shop on, though. It works, but the filter system is really clunky and the whole experience is slow & painful, not a pleasant experience.

I give 4.5 stars purely for the in-store experience - the online store knocks one point off. The staff are cordial & I didn't feel any judgement for being trans, & lots of well stocked brands and styles. They are small, but they focus on large, and don't fill the store with smaller sizes, so it's ok. If you are in Melbourne, pop down and give it a shot. Super helpful, to me.
