Big Shoe Bargains at Low Heels
Joanna at Low Heels UK is having a big brand clearance sale for sizes 7-11 uk (41-45 eu) with Brunate shoes & boots for just £50, Hogl sneakers for £40 and Toni Pons sandals for £35. Run don't walk! She ships worldwide from the UK.
Otto+Ivy Pop-Up Plans
Laura at Otto+ Ivy, specialists in gorgeous size 42-46 shoes (standard + wide fit) is planning a UK pop-up shop. What a time to be alive!
This is only at an early research stage but she hopes to make it happen in late 2025, so join their mailing list to stay in the loop and vote in a survey down the line. A shoe shopping city break sure sounds good to me! 🤞
Widerry: a New Brand for Extra Wide Shoes
Extra wide big shoes are in extra short supply. So new UK brand Widerry is very welcome indeed! Originally founded by Lorraine in 2023, she has relaunched Widerry for 2025 with a wider range of sizes up to 44 (11 uk, 13 us) all in an extra wide (2E-3E or WW) width. She ships worldwide from the UK.
Amaia mary jane flats launch on January 31st in 4 colours, after Katia kitten heels sold out in a flash last week. Restocks are coming soon and you can sign up to be notified on product pages.
Italian brand Lurah launch new website
Natascia at Lurah in Italy for sizes 41 to 45 has launched her new website with all shoes now included on the English version. There's lots more close-ups of her beautiful leather shoes & boots too - bellissima! She ships to the EU & UK.
New Brexit Problem
Heads up if you're in the EU or Northern Ireland and buying from mainland UK websites: More Brexit shenanigans kicked in just before Xmas & some smaller businesses have suddenly stopped shipping to the EU & NI. 😭
Stores are working hard on solutions though, so hopefully this is only temporary. Otto+Ivy are affected but hope to resume EU & NI orders in February. 🤞
Size 13s at Vionic USA & Canada
I've only just realised comfort brand Vionic now do size 13 us women's shoes, along with wides up to 12 and narrow up to 11. I think they actually started adding 13s in 2023, but I still only see size 13s available on Vionic USA & Canada.
Their UK site does now have several size 10 uk shoes at least, so hopefully 11s will arrive eventually. 🤞 Note while their 10s are only converted to 43s, they are proper size 10s (27.9cm foot length).
Vionics feel different due to their unique orthotic insoles that are supposed to align your foot correctly. They take getting used to & don't suit everyone but for some with foot pain they're a game changer.
There's a 30 day trial if you buy direct from Vionic (or an authorised retailer), so you can give them a go, wear them out & about & still send them back if they don't work out. It's a few years ago now, but I'd no problems returning my worn ankle boots.
