The Long Tall Sally brand has been saved at last - hurray!

LTS will continue their online sale, trading in their current form, until 27th August. The brand will then be under new ownership from 1st September although it is unclear when the online store will be up & running again.

When Long Tall Sally announced in June that they were closing after 44 years, many tall women were crestfallen. LTS had been the go-to brand for so many for so long. When it comes to shoes, they served both tall & shorter women well! So it's great news that the brand has been saved.

Long Tall Sally has been sold to AK Retail Holdings Ltd who own plus size fashion brands Yours Clothing & Bump it Up maternity.

RetailDive report that new owner Andrew Killingsworth plans to focus on the North American market as well as the UK.

His existing retail portfolio focuses on fashionable, affordable clothing so hopefully that means the future looks bright for Long Tall Sally fans.
